This is my mushroom cap morphology studies lately, I love beautiful mushrooms with different shapes. The original drawings are done in gouache on 230gm Daler-Rowney acid free watercolor paper. The paper is one of those watercolor papers that I like most.

Preparation for another year. The two of the calendar are selected from my succulent, and cactus watercolor painting series to represent each months for the year 2014. I made the designs simple, clean, and easy to use. There're few lines on the right bottom for taking notes on each page.

I designed and made an A5 notebook recently. I used my hand drawn succulent illustrations to design this notebook cover, and the insert as well. I was thinking to DIY a special Birthday gift for my friend, she's able to write notes on every lines in good mood:)
